Swarovski Crystal 1997 SCS Fabulous Creatures Dragon Mint In Box w/Certificate. Beautiful Swarovski Crystal SCS 1997 Annual Edition the Dragon. SCS stands for Swarovski Collectors Society. It was produced for just 1 year (1997) after which it was retired. Available now only on the secondary market. This lovely mythical design features a mostly clear crystal dragon with a frosted mane and brilliant red eyes. A crystal ball is attached to the right front foot. Not to be confused with another Dragon figurine made by Swarovski a few years later. That one was not a member-only piece and has a detachable crystal ball. Original, hand finished design. Swarovski full cut crystal. Mint in a box. Removed from the box just to take pictures. About 5 1/2 long. Includes original certificate of authenticity. The piece # is DO1X971 / 208 398. Designed by Gabriele Stamey. It is the second of the trilogy of Fabulous Creatures series, which also includes the Unicorn and the Pegasus. I have these two also, never displayed, mint in a box.
