Referred to as a “Dentzel Prancer Mare”. Her head is in the “Sweet-faced” position. In 1864 Gustav emigrated to America and introduced the first amusement park carousel. The Dentzel name is identified with distinction in the pioneering and development of the hand carved carousel.
