Egyptian Museum & Collectible Shadowbox Diorama. I listed this as used since I made it a while back. 15 1/2″ High x 15 1/2″ Wide x 4 Deep. I made this back around 2005/2006. I like making themed shadowboxes with 1 to 1′ scale miniatures & other assorted items. Some of the items originally were parts of jewelry sets or earrings. A number of the’Gold’ Tombs, Pharaoh Chairs & Bast the Cat statues I believe are from a Franklin Mint Collection of Miniature Egyptian Replicas made celebrating some of Egypt’s Archaeology Discoveries & Artifacts that show at the Anthropology & Archaeology Museums. This was a fun themed shadowbox to make. It took quite a bit of planning out ahead of time as well as time to assemble. It is a one of a kind item & I doubt I could ever exactly replicate it or want to. I put an electric light inside it in the corner along with a switch that hangs outside the box. The back is also on hinges (and screwed closed) so it can open to change the bulb if it were to burn out although I have not used the bulb much to light it. It does currently light & if it were to burn out or anything were to dislodge from it’s place it can be changed or put back into place. There is a mirror above the light so when the light is lit you can sometimes see a lightbeam (you can see it in the pictures) that beams down upon the Sarcophagus. View more great items.
