A very rare antique tall biscuit porcelain sculpture figural group / table lamp. Depicting two boys who are eating fruit. A very important historical piece made after a painting from the famous Baroque painter Bartolome Esteban murillo (see pic from the painting). More information can be found on the web many of his paintings are in top Musea all over the world. The figurine is mounted in an eleborated beaded arbor / alcove lamp with a bronze base. The arbor is made of gilded bronze in the Louis XVI style. Embelished with hand cutted beads. To be dated: second half 19th century. The lamp works see pics. Origin figurine is probably Italy or France the bronze and lamp is added in the final quarter 19th century in France Paris. Marked: The porcelain is signed but hard to read. Condition: Good minor imperfection at the dogs feet. Height 24.5 (62cm). Width 12.6 (32cm). Condition: during the years 5% of the beads are replaced but most are hand cut and original. The lamp works and is US compatible. Ithin 14 days of receiving the item.
