This coconut was collected on the island of Wallis, on the small road that starts from the chiefdom of the island and passes the hotel Moana Hou, Liku, Wallis and Futuna, where I stayed. Considering the great resistance of coconuts, I estimate that it takes at least ten years of patient marine erosion to produce these rare objects. I was won over by the odd aesthetic of these nuts and picked up any that had aesthetic interest. The nuts measure 10-18cm in diameter and each weigh between 120-230 grams. They were sent from the Wallis Island post office on a December 6, arriving at my home in France on November 20 of the following year. We had to be patient. In addition to the nut, and after confirmation of receipt and acceptance of the order, buyers will receive upon request a signed HD photo of the item without watermark. Price is for one coconut, the first one pictured. I have a project to create one or more coconut palm museums, and for several decades I have been collecting information and objects relating to this plant.
