I’ve recently retired and in preparation for downsizing, I’m divesting much of my vintage Lladro collection. From my personal collection, this is Lladro’s 5385 “Scarecrow and the Lady” in the glossy finish. This piece depicts a young girl with a bouquet of flowers playfully handing one to a charming scarecrow. The bouquet is composted of delicate hand-sculpted pink flowers, all of which are perfectly intact, as is the individual flower in her other hand All fingers are intact with no repairs. As with all Lladro sculptures, the detail is magnificent and the colors seem to glow from within. Height: 8.25 inches. It does not come with the original box, which was unfortunately destroyed in a fire in our garage last year.
