RARE Antique Mettlach Charger Man Woman Blue Feather Fancy Hat ARTIST C. Antique Mettlach Porcelain Charger Portrait Wall Plate. Antique Mettlach Porcelain Charger Plate Wall Plaque. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age, it dates back to the 19th Century and is an original piece done by Mettlach and a very early piece that is artist signed which we believe says C. Warth it is very hard to see but i did take pictures of the signature on his sleeve, and may be in the school of Mettlach and one of the originals and is referenced in the photos. Its is number 1411 engraved at the back and from what we are told its highly collectable and certainly beautiful with a BEAUTIFUL portrait that has great depth and dimension to the detail with beautiful enamel designs as shown in the photots. 1894 From what we are told this same charger is in Kovels price collectors book and is beautifully glazed and they call it The Woman or Man in fancy hat. Has some crazing, chips and the glaze is wearing off in places PLEASE VIEW ALL PICTURES.
