A lot of two resin casts of the Maskell Passion Ivories. The Maskell Passion Ivories, four altogether, once comprised the sides of a small carved ivory casket or box. The ivories date from 420-430 CE. Much of their historical importance is due to their status as the earliest representation of the Crucifixion in a narrative context. Each panel measures approximately 3″ x 4″. Very Good condition, no damage of any kind.
