Antique German Conta & Boehme Girl With Harmonica Figurine Match Holder Striker Antique German hand painted porcelain figurine of a girl with a harmonic match holder and striker. Marked on the bottom with an impressed shield with an arm inside of it. According to the Conta & Boehme Porcelain Identification and Value Guide, this mark was used by Conta & Boehme starting around 1840 or 1845 and was used until 1891. Has an in manufacture firing separation to the top of the left arm, a firing separation to the wrist on the right arm, a firing separation on the inside of the harmonica, an in manufacture firing separation to the top of the hat, and some wear to the gilding. Measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide x 4 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
