Authentic Meissen vintage antique? About 6″ tall and 2.5″ in diameter. This is a man in a blue coat wearing a hat. He is playing an instrument of some sort flute? While leaning against a tree stump, and a dog is lying at his feet. I tried researching this but could not find what year it might be. On the bottom there are 3 X marks together with a line underneath them. It is also etched with 2722 and 62 and also has what appears to be hand-written “19″. Here are the condition issues (see photos). The bottom of the instrument is gone. The right dog ear is gone (the metal is still there but not the porcelain). The right arm appears to have been glued. There is some sort of residue here and there around the arms and hands – might be from being glued before, but hard to tell. Otherwise there are some very minor cosmetic flaws here and there, like a small discolored spot on the back of the right leg.
